A name built
on trust.

Our trade has changed. Our commitment to family, hard work, and the communities we serve has carried on.
Where the tradition began
In Mansfield, Ohio, Robert “Bob” Wilging learned the butcher’s trade from his father in the family-run meat shop. He later moved to Rittman and opened Wilging Market. As his family grew, so did the business, with stores in Doylestown and Seville.
A new chapter in construction
After a lifetime working in the stores with his brothers and sister, Bob’s son David opened Wilging Construction following Bob’s retirement. Bob’s grandchildren joined the construction business, continuing the family-owned and operated tradition.
The next generation carries it forward
Bryce Wilging took over the construction company, carrying forward the tradition his great-grandfather began in 1919.
A legacy still going strong
Wilging Construction serves homeowners and businesses throughout Northeast Ohio. Wilging Meats also remains in business, owned and operated by Bob’s nephews, celebrating its 107th year in 2026.
